INTEGRATIVE COUNSELING
WITH HALEY WOODSIDE, LMFT
I believe that because we are complex and unique individuals, an approach that integrates both mind and body is essential for the healing, growth, and resiliency that is the goal of therapeutic counseling. I bring to my work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist not only my training in clinical psychology and expressive arts, but also my experience as a group facilitator, yoga teacher, and ritual artist to provide integrative counseling services to individuals and families in Lamorinda (Lafayette, Orinda, and Moraga), San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area.
I am a CA BBS Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #100015. I specialize in working with couples and partnerships, children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have offices in both Lafayette and San Francisco. Some of my specialities include working with: perinatal mental health, kids and teens, play therapy, music therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, eating disorders, sex and love addiction, kink, polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, integration therapy for entheogens, PTSD, sexual trauma, and anxiety/depression. My practice affirms all sexual and relationship orientations, genders, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, and bodies.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a doctoral candidate in East-West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where my research explores motherhood, ancestral rites of passage, and ceremonial healing practices. As a ritual artist and ceremony facilitator, I weave myth, movement, somatics, and spiritual traditions into therapeutic and communal spaces, creating sacred containers for transformation. My work bridges depth psychology, feminist theory, and embodied ritual, with a deep commitment to restoring the sacred in transitions like weaning, birth, and identity change. Whether in therapy or ceremony, I support individuals and communities in reclaiming their stories, their agency, and their connection to something greater.
